The Brief:
Clifford Chance has launched a dedicated Environment and Planning team in Australia.
Rebecca Davie exits HSF Kramer to lead it.
Clifford Chance has bolstered its Australian practice, launching a dedicated Environment and Planning team led by newly appointed Counsel Rebecca Davie.
Davie joins from Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, bringing deep experience advising developers, sponsors, lenders and investors on complex projects across all areas of environment and planning law.
The new team will work across the firm’s energy, infrastructure and real estate practices, delivering front-end and strategic advice on major development and energy projects.
As inbound and domestic investment into energy, infrastructure and real estate in Australia continues to grow, Rebecca’s expertise meaningfully strengthens our offering to clients in these areas.
The launch follows recent partner promotions in Private Equity and Real Estate and the re-establishment of the firm’s M&A practice in Perth. Clifford Chance’s Australian build-out is gathering pace.
