The Brief:

  • Corrs Chambers Westgarth has adopted Harvey firmwide.

  • The move deepens Harvey’s Australian footprint, alongside top-tier firms and law school partnerships.

Corrs Chambers Westgarth is rolling out legal AI platform Harvey across the firm.

The independent firm said the decision followed a thorough evaluation of the legal AI landscape, with Harvey selected for its ability to support complex legal work at scale.

What they said

“After a thorough evaluation of the legal AI landscape, we chose Harvey for firmwide adoption. Its ability to support complex legal work across all practice areas, together with a strong focus on security, quality and responsible use, align well with our firm’s AI strategy,” said Marae Ciantar, Corrs’ Chief of Legal Excellence and Risk.

Harvey CEO Winston Weinberg said Corrs’ decision reflected a clear long-term view on AI adoption in legal practice.

“Corrs is a highly influential firm in Australia, and we're very pleased to support their firmwide rollout,” Weinberg said.

Latest movements

The Corrs rollout comes as Harvey continues to expand its Australian presence. The University of Sydney Law School and the University of Technology Sydney Faculty of Law recently joined Harvey’s Law Schools Program, giving students free access to the platform.

Those university partnerships sit alongside a growing Australian client base that already includes Ashurst, Gilbert + Tobin and King & Wood Mallesons, as legal AI adoption accelerates across the market.
