The Brief:
Dentons has appointed Ryan Cable as a disputes partner in Brisbane.
The hire extends the firm's national DR footprint, following Melbourne partner Sarah Fregon's arrival in January.
Dentons has added Ryan Cable as a partner in its national Dispute Resolution practice, based in Brisbane.
Cable is an arbitration and commercial litigation specialist with a focus on oil and gas, mining, energy, renewables and resources, covering breach of contract, financing and joint venture disputes.
Cable makes the jump from Clayton Utz, where he spent 3 years as Senior Associate.
He's a recognised name in the directories, with listings in Lexology Index, Doyles Guide and Legal 500 UK across arbitration and commercial litigation.
Australia Chair Amber Warren said the appointment "adds to our existing dispute resolution capabilities in the Brisbane market and marks another step in our commitment to strengthening our national capability."
Cable's hire follows the January addition of Melbourne disputes partner Sarah Fregon, as Dentons builds towards a full-service national DR bench.
