The Brief:
HSF Kramer has hired Marcus Davenport into its projects, energy and infrastructure partnership in Melbourne.
He joins after almost 30 years at Clayton Utz, bringing deep private-side infrastructure procurement expertise.
Marcus Davenport is swapping Clayton Utz for HSF Kramer, joining the firm’s projects, energy and infrastructure (PEI) partnership in Melbourne after nearly 30 years at his old shop.
Davenport brings extensive experience leading private-side infrastructure procurement matters across Australia. He’s now one of more than 50 global partners in HSF Kramer’s PEI practice, which sits within a broader energy and infrastructure group of over 200 partners worldwide.
PEI Managing Partner, Asia and Australia, Nick Baker said, “The addition of Marcus strengthens our private capital-led infrastructure offering across social and economic assets such as roads, public transport, defence, schools, social and affordable housing, and hospitals, delivered through PPPs and other procurement models.”
Davenport’s arrival comes after HSF Kramer promoted four energy and infrastructure partners in Australia in April — Tom Dougherty, Skye Kirby, Stuart Robertson and Bailee Walker.
