The Brief:
Johnson Winter Slattery has promoted five lawyers to its partnership, effective 1 July 2026.
The round is up from four promotions last year, spanning five practice areas and three cities.
Johnson Winter Slattery has elevated five senior lawyers to its partnership, deepening its bench across disputes, corporate and employment from Brisbane to Adelaide.
The new partners are:
Charlotte Fenton (Employment/IR, Brisbane): Fenton advises clients across energy and resources, private equity and manufacturing on bargaining, enterprise agreements, terminations and litigation.
Julia Green (Environment & Planning, Sydney): Green advises on the full lifecycle of real estate, energy, agriculture and infrastructure projects, across transactional, advisory and litigious work.
Sally-Ann Rowland (Real Estate, Adelaide): Rowland’s focus is property development, acquisitions and disposals and major projects nationally, including real estate in restructuring and land access for energy sectors.
Connor Stagg (Dispute Resolution, Brisbane): Stagg acts in complex contractual, joint venture, oil and gas, renewables and construction disputes, as well as international and domestic arbitrations.
Jarrod Wilksch (Corporate/M&A/ECM, Adelaide): Wilksch advises on M&A, equity capital markets and corporate governance across a broad range of industries.
It’s a step up from last year’s round of four, and follows a string of senior hires including M&A/PE partner Liam Hickey and new Head of Tax Peter Feros.
JWS now fields 85+ partners across its national practice.
