The Brief:

  • Legora has launched a global brand campaign fronted by Jude Law, built around the line “Law just got more attractive.”

  • Legal AI’s battle has shifted from product capability to brand, with Harvey and Legora spending big on celebrity campaigns and sporting sponsorships.

Legal AI has a new face — Jude Law.

Legora has launched a global brand campaign starring Jude Law.

The campaign was directed by Saturday Night Live veteran Rhys Thomas and shot by Academy Award-winning cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema. It’s built around the line “Law just got more attractive”, and is designed to reframe legal AI from a productivity tool to a core part of modern legal work.

Legora asked me to be the new face of their brand. So when you see my face in the future, you can associate it with precise drafting, seamless collaboration, and thorough research, powered by AI. Or, put simply: making law more attractive

The move signals a new phase in how legal AI platforms compete.

Until recently, the fight was on capability: better drafting, faster research, more accurate outputs. As functionality starts to converge, the battleground is shifting to something less technical and far more visible: brand.

Rival Harvey has made parallel moves, signing actor Gabriel Macht, who played Harvey Specter in Suits, and inking partnerships with Paris Saint-Germain, Fulham FC and the US Open. Legora, meanwhile, has aligned with Swedish golfer Ludvig Åberg and New York Yankees superstar Aaron Judge.

Big funding helps too.

Backed by significant capital, the leading players can spend on celebrity campaigns and global sponsorships in a way that most of the legal tech community cannot even entertain.

Legora has grown from 40 to 400 staff over the past year, with offices across Stockholm, London, New York, Denver, Sydney and Bengaluru.

We believe this is the most exciting time in history to be a lawyer,” said CEO and co-founder Max Junestrand. “AI is reshaping how legal work gets done, making it more collaborative and connected. This campaign reflects our ambition to lead that transformation together with our customers, and make law more attractive in the process.”

The campaign will roll out across the US, UK and the Nordics.
