The Brief:

  • Piper Alderman adds Hannah Brown as a DR partner.

  • Brown’s cross-border experience bolsters the firm’s national litigation strength.

Piper Alderman has appointed Hannah Brown as a partner in its dispute resolution and litigation team, effective 7 October.

Based in Sydney, Brown will work closely with the national practice to enhance the firm’s litigation offering.

Brown is qualified in New Zealand, the UK and Australia.

She worked previously at Mills Oakley and JWS, repping ASX-listed companies, major financial institutions, government bodies, developers and construction firms in high-value matters before federal and state courts. She also brings specialist expertise in plaintiff-led class actions and litigation funding.

Brown said she was excited to join a team “renowned nationwide not only for its experience and outstanding track record in handling complex matters and market-leading cases.”

Practice lead Martin del Gallego said Brown’s “expertise and dedication” will be “an invaluable asset” as the firm expands its national litigation capabilities.
