The brief:

  • Russell Kennedy pilots Automatise’s Cicero firm-wide

  • Law firms continue to test tools to capture AI-powered efficiencies

Russell Kennedy has kicked off a firm-wide pilot of Cicero, the litigation-focused AI platform developed by Automatise, as part of its digital transformation push.

The pilot aims to test how AI can streamline litigation workflows.

Managing Director Paul Gleeson said the firm sees “real potential for AI to support our lawyers, particularly in the area of litigation,” with a focus on delivering practical value for clients.

Head of Dispute Resolution Marika Hubble-Marriott said AI could be especially powerful in litigation and investigations, where “accuracy, efficiency and analysis are critical.”

Law firms continue to make bold moves in law’s AI “gold rush”.

  • Maddocks announced its adoption of Cicero earlier this year.

  • Allens announced its adoption of Legora and CoCounsel earlier this month.

  • While first-mover Harvey has snatched up the likes of KWM, ABL and G+T.
