The Brief:
Legora lands Salesforce as a client, going global across the tech giant’s legal function.
Salesforce has been vocal about building its own legal tech in-house, making this rollout a notable win for Legora.
Salesforce is handing its legal function to Legora.
The agentic AI platform is rolling out across Salesforce’s entire Legal and Corporate Affairs org, spanning North America, EMEA and APAC. It slots in alongside Agentforce and Slack, both already core to how the tech giant runs its legal ops.
Here’s why this matters: Salesforce has previously talked up its own in-house legal tech builds. So a global Legora rollout, doing work that overlaps with what Salesforce has already built itself, is a serious stamp of approval for the Stockholm-based company.
Erica Swainson, VP, Legal Innovation & Strategic Initiatives at Salesforce, said:
“AI is reshaping how legal teams operate, and with Slack and Agentforce we’re building an AI-native, trust-first legal function that empowers our team to work more efficiently and focus their time where it can have the greatest impact. Adding Legora to our transformation portfolio gives our team additional legal tools to support research, drafting, and other workflows, so they can spend more time on the work that requires their expertise and judgment.”
Legora CEO and Co-Founder Max Junestrand got personal about the deal on LinkedIn, recalling a trip to San Francisco as a 15-year-old with his dad:
“We walked into Salesforce East and stood there watching the enormous digital display of moving water. Outside, Salesforce Tower was starting to rise. I remember looking up and thinking it would be pretty sweet to have a tower someday. We are not there yet.
What I could not have known is that I would be back years later, having dinner with Mark Benioff and welcoming Salesforce as a Legora customer.”
It’s another big name for Legora’s books, which already counts 100k+ legal professionals across 1,800 firms and in-house teams in over 50 markets.
