Paul Marshall and Girish Rao join the global partnership from 1 January 2026.
White & Case has elevated two Melbourne-based lawyers — Paul Marshall and Girish Rao — to partner in its global promotions round.
Marshall, from the firm’s Project Development and Finance Practice, advises lenders, borrowers and sponsors on developing, financing and acquiring primary energy and infrastructure projects, with particular experience in offtake agreements and renewable power and storage financings.
Rao, from the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice, advises investment funds and corporates on cross-border acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures, focusing on energy, mining and infrastructure.
The promotions are part of a global round spanning 20 offices in 14 countries across the Americas, EMEA and Asia-Pacific, effective 1 January 2026.
